Blue Taylor

TEACHING ASSISTANT, 1 & 2 YEAR OLDS

Blue is the Assistant Teacher in the Elephant room as well as a musician, and is involved in bringing music to each classroom at BTA. He is originally from Panama City, Florida, and has lived in and loved New Orleans for the past six years.

Blue studied Music Therapy as an undergraduate at Loyola University. In his practicum, he gained experience working with diverse early childhood populations across New Orleans, including the Deaf and hard of hearing community as well as children with disabilities. He fell in love with facilitating musical learning with toddlers and is passionate about helping children
access and develop their innate musicality.

When not teaching or making music, Blue enjoys hiking with his dog, gardening and reading and collecting science fiction novels.
